Sometimes I text pics of where I'm at in the process to others who I know will provide a good critique - and yes there is a BIG difference between productive and non-productive criticism. I learned that from teaching.
I thought this was a good way to demonstrate all the things you go over from start to finish. A little doubt here, a struggle there..."phone a friend." After getting the water in, it was a little more smooth sailing.
